Your data lives on the space you connect to
Your messages, profile, and account data are stored on the space you choose to connect to — not on Huddle-operated servers. The operator of that space controls how your data is retained and processed.
What Huddle stores on your device
Your sign-in is kept securely in your device's system keychain on mobile, and in browser storage on the web. Message drafts and scheduled messages are cached locally on your device only. You can clear this local data at any time from Settings → Data & storage.
End-to-end encryption
Where enabled by your space and channel, message content is end-to-end encrypted so that only participants can read it. Huddle never transmits your data to third parties for advertising or analytics.
Blocking and moderation
You can block people, which hides their content from you. Channel moderators may remove or hide content according to the rules of each channel.
Deleting your account
You can deactivate and erase your account from Settings → Account. Deactivation is processed by your space and, where supported, erases your message content. This action is irreversible.
